Open Studio Pass Options!
Open Studio Pass With an Open studio pass you get ONE 2.5hr session in the studio ONCE a week.
Extended Open Studio pass holders will have Up to 10 hrs a week of open studio access during posted open studio hours.
All Access Open Studio Pass holders will have access to the studio at ANY time, day or night, outside of classes and workshops
Open Studio Passes are for 6 weeks and are a great option for those who want to be in the studio more without the commitment of buying and renting a full studio. Email Delorespottery@gmail.com with any questions.
Cone 6 Reduction & Soda Firing Workshop
Wed April 23rd - Sun April 27th
Interested in getting varied surface results with your pottery? This workshop is for you!
1 cone 6 soda Firing & 1 cone 6 Gas reduction firing.
Students will have roughly 3 cu ft between the 2 kilns
This workshop will offer 2 types of ways to participate.
$200 - Bring already bisque fired cone 6 pieces for the workshop. Pieces are limited to roughly 10in tall by 10in wide. Work must be less than or equal to the amount that can be created with 25lbs of clay or work that will fit on two 26in wide x 5in shelves.
$275 - Students will receive one 25lb bag of clay and access to the studio during Open studio hours to create work. You will have 3 weeks to create pieces for the firing. Price includes Open Studio time, Clay, Bisque, Glazing

Hand-building for beginners!
Learn the basics of hand-building and surface decoration!
In this class you will learn hand-building techniques to create beautiful functional or decorative pieces.
If the wheel is just not your thing, but you’d love to create a mug or a bowl, this class could be for you. There will be guidance and a number of hand building demos.

Have you ever wanted to try making pottery? Has it been a while since you’ve thrown on the wheel and you want to refresh your throwing skills? This class is for you!
Students will meet for 2.5 hrs, 6:30pm - 9pm, once a week for six weeks. This class series will take you through the various stages of wheel throwing such as, wedging, centering and the actual shaping of a piece, trimming and glazing. You will be able to progress at your own speed and instruction will be catered to your particular skill level.
